What comes to mind when you think of Vietnam? 🇻🇳

Is it the food? 🍲
Is it the people? ☺

This is my second time to visit Vietnam, and I have only been to the capital. I know about the other main places to visit: Hanoi, Da Nang, Ha Long Bay, and Nha Trang. AND I wish to someday visit these other amazing cities and places, but on this trip I didn't want to make a checklist of cities or places to see and visit. I kind of did that when I was in South America, and I was exhausted! Don't get me wrong... I did enjoy all the new places I saw, but I don't think I had the time or energy I wanted to reflect on my experiences at the places I was visiting...

I'm traveling with one of my girlfriends named Saraswati, and she has never been to Vietnam or Cambodia. SO that's how we decided to go to these two countries!! 🗺

Saigon is such a big city!! I don't believe we even saw 10% of this busy busy city. Luckily when we were on the food tour, we were on motorbikes that took us around a few different districts to try various Vietnamese foods.

All the food was soooooo delicious, and we were sooooooo stuffed!! We even shared the foods, and couldn't finish it all. There was one more food stop, but we asked to skip it because we could not eat another bite. We ended with this delicious flan in coffee and the cup was a coconut jelly dessert.

I'm glad Saraswati is on the same page as me as a traveler... we did not do a lot of touristy things, but just enough. and we also had down time to walk around, eat good foods, chill and sip our morning coffees, and watch TV. 😂
